How to Apply
Faculty Positions
The university consists of 10 units and the Fort Wayne Center for Medical Education. Faculty employment is handled administratively within each academic unit. To view a listing of available faculty positions, visit the Academic Affairs Web site. You may apply by following the instructions provided on each specific Web site.
Staff Positions
The university offers a variety of staff positions including administrative, clerical, service and many more. If you’re actively seeking a new position IPFW, you will want to be sure your resume information is in our new system. If you previously had a resume on file with us, you will need to re-submit your information via the new system. In order to be considered for a Staff position, you must apply online. To submit your information, you will need to:
- Sign into the IPFW.jobs
- Create a username and password
- Provide an e-mail address. (Free e-mail accounts are available at Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo)
- Complete your online profile. There are two ways to build your profile.
- Attach your electronic resume and let the system fill out your profile for you.
- Fill out the profile yourself by manually entering all requested information. (The Web site will provide step-by-step instructions on how to complete your profile)
Note: Responses are required for fields/questions marked with an *(asterisk).
Viewing Positions
You can view the list of available staff positions by visiting our Web site at IPFW.jobs and selecting the “Staff Positions” link. You can view positions without applying. For detailed information about a position, click on the Job Title and you will be taken to a new page that provides a brief description and the requirements of that particular position. You may apply for that position by clicking the “Apply Online” button.
You will be required to complete an E-signature page.
You must read and agree to the terms of the applicant notice. You verify that you have read and agree to the applicant notice by entering your e-mail address information and providing your full legal name (First, Middle, Last). Once you provide this verification, you will receive a summary of your application information. Please review. To complete the process, click on “Submit”.
